Cadbury advert using a gorilla to use the drums, playing along with the song 'In The Air Tonight' by Phil Collins. The use of this songs enables the audience to automatically think of this advert as it is a very popular song throughout the world. Furthermore, the use of the gorilla playing the drums to this song creates amusement for the audience and it is an advert that is advertising chocolate, which is a very tasty snack which also amuses people. If the audience to this advert, hear or listen to this song again they will automatically imagine this gorilla playing the drums and that will amuse them but as they think of this advert they will remember that the advert is for chocolate and this would encourage them to buy this chocolate. Also, with the use of this very popular song will further encourage people into buying a bar of Cadburys chocolate because it shows a popular song advertising a popular product from a popular company.  I chose this poster as it is a UK poster that was published during the first World War. It is an image of Lord Kitchener pointing at the viewer of the poster, saying "join your country's army". This is saying to the viewer to join the army to fight in World War 1. It is advertising the war and wanting people to join the army and fight for their country. However, it is not mentioning anything about the lifestyle, conditions and the likelihood of death within war. If I had noticed this poster at the time of the publish then I would probably join the war because as it says "god save the king" gives the idea of being a hero and therefore would intrigue me into joining the army and saving the King.  This poster is a vintage Michelin poster, that shows the 'Michelin man'. This poster is advertising the tire company Michelin and was published in 1941 in Paris, France. It shows the Michelin Man, with a woman standing in front of him that seems to be hold

masthead background images

I used the 'Type Mask Tool' to create an empty word. I then used the 'Paste Special' tool to paste a variety of pictures (e.g. celebrities, graffiti, fire, the sea and the sky)  that I had previously found off of the internet to make up the background of the word 'Masthead' and this makes the word 'Masthead' more interesting and stand out as it is unique and catches the viewers eye. My favourite image that I actually put on a masthead was the water droplets because it looks amazing and stands out to me as a member of the audience. However, my least favourite background image in the word is the one with the American rapper Denzel Curry because you are not actually able to see the actual image or even tell who/what the image is.
