Activity 1 In my everyday life, I use an iPhone created by Apple. Apple have created many products, for example: laptops, computers, phones, tablets, earphones etc.  Apple  promotes their products through commercials and print ads, focusing on how their products are different from competitors. Commercial ads run when a product is first launched and print ads will run throughout the product's life. They keep fans interested and provide information on upcoming products. The current advertising campaign for advertising the iPhone

If an advertiser is found guilty of breaking the law, they may not be able to use the advertisement, or may even be prosecuted. Effectiveness of advertisement campaigns

Marketers find their hands full with executing marketing strategies, aimed at awareness, branding, sales, or a combination of the three. At the same time, with growing stakes, it has become increasingly important for marketing experts to validate that record spending by demonstrating a concrete return on investment (ROI). The marketing industry as a whole is picking up on this – according to new research drawn from a survey of over 2,700 marketers in nine countries. The study, conducted by  Research Now together with   Econsultancy ,  shows that almost all brand and agency marketers now understand the importance of analytics and campaign-level measurement to prove the effectiveness of their advertising services. A quarter of all brands meanwhile rate this factor as ‘extremely important’ to their business.   “With only 3% of brands and 4% of agencies not measuring the success of their advertising campaigns, the need for measurement is evidently acknowledged by marketers,” said Monica S

adverts for elderly

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfERQ-Riy2E IKEA-  This is IKEA advertisement that shows an older person starting a new life with the help of IKEA, this person uses the IKEA store to help set up his new life. This strays away from the typical advertisement for older people as they tend to be about older people being lonely or life insurance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebgptuUfDMk Age UK- This is a life insurance advert that shows younger people in a family and claims that the life insurance will help to financially support younger people in the family if the worst happens to someone. This is a typical advert for older people as it's advertising life insurance which is what tends to get advertised to older people as they need it more than anyone else.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThzE4HtqZek   Gillette- This is a Gillette advert that emphasizes the ideology that older people are more frail and need a lot more care and protection; this follows the same path of the usual

Audio Advertisements https://soundcloud.com/campaignlive/mcdonalds McDonalds have advertised their new “chicken big tasty” burger with this advert by making it contemporary to the time that the advert was released (around christmas time) and raised brand awareness by advertising the burger and describing it to appeal to the listener and to make them hungry. They’re competing with other fast food restaurants, such as ‘Burger King’ and ‘Kentucky Fried Chicken’ and they’re tempting their audience to try out the new burger by saying it is available now. Print Advertisements This is a print advert to advertise the idea that animals suffer with air pollution and loud music and other things as much or even more than humans do. The only thing missing from the phrases is the letter “U” signifying that we all play a part in helping with these issues. Online Advertisement https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CR5uCR6WK1U This is an online advertisement on a YouTube video. It is advertising a new

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIyqcST29wQ This one of the NHS's smoking adverts used to help educate the audience of what smoking does to you in aim to help stop them smoking. This advert was produced in 2012 and it shows a man in his back garden and uses ASMR to hear him smoking, along with this it has a narrator telling the audience the consequence of smoking and on the actual cigarette that the man is smoking it shows like a mutation and this makes me believe this is what happens to a persons body when they smoke. Shocking an audience in this sort of way is an effective way of advertising because it shows the audience the real affects of smoking. However, it is not always appropriate to advertise using this method because it can cause trauma to a young person watching the advert and also the shocking advertising may not be necessary to the actual product. For example: one of skittles band adverts show a man killing himself via a gun and his blood is rainbow. The type of shock

case scenario-celebrity endorsement

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frbEXL4TX2s  - This is an Nespresso advert that includes the very famous actor George Clooney in 2016. This includes George Clooney and also the famous actor Jack Black. It uses comedy, but a bland comedy as a form of advertising through the character that Jack Black plays to use Nespresso to "pull" a girl by copying George Clooney in his adverts and then is followed by George coming over and taking that girl and then Jack uses the words used by George on another girl and it works for him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoJtjkaEr1E&t=3s  - This is an Nespresso advert that includes the very famous actor George Clooney in 2018, this is at the point where Nespresso is a fairly
